At Awaken, we partner with parents to influence their kids toward a life lived for Jesus. We achieve this through fun, energetic environments staffed by an incredible team of volunteers who LOVE Jesus and LOVE kids.
Our team helps your kids discover Jesus through age-appropriate, interactive Bible lessons. We are committed to supporting families as together we impact the faith and future of the next generation.
We’ve compiled a list of resources for parents-- click here for some of what we’re listening to and watching in our homes.
When you arrive, look for our Awaken Kids flags.
Our kids ministry on Sunday morning happens at the Nurture Center on our church campus. So check in your child and then head to our main meeting space.
When you check in, you and your child will receive personalized, coordinating ID tags unique to your family and your visit, which you will show after the service in order to pick up your child. If you lose your ID tag, you will be required to show your Driver’s License in its place.
Nursery
If you have a child that is birth - two years old, check in will happen in the main meeting space on campus. Our babies, after being checked in will be taken back to our nursery area. The Nursery will follow the same pickup procedure as listed above, only having pickup at the same check-in location.
Wednesday Night Small Groups
Midweek is for students in 6th - 12th grades. We engage our students with an interactive environment through creative small groups and community activities. These midweek groups follow the same scheduling as our adult groups.
Youth Nights & Extended Opportunities
We believe that students are not the church of tomorrow, they are the church of today. We have a burning desire to see our students significantly engaged in the life of the church.
Students are a part of services in the Main Auditorium each Sunday and encouraged to join a serve team. On the first Wednesday of each month we host a Youth Night -- a night where we go all out for our teenagers. Fun, games, food, worship, a powerful message and the opportunity to hang out with friends.
Summer Camp, Mission Opportunities and Community Service projects are also a part of the discipleship path we have for our students.Button
