WHY LIFE GROUPS?
Life Groups are the core of who we are at Awaken—they ARE the church.
Life Groups are where Acts 2:42-47 community takes place as we passionately seek Jesus, make disciples, care for those in need, and reach out to those around us with the love of Christ.

Kids (0 - 5th Grade): Sunday Mornings
Students (6th - 12th graders): WednesdayNights
Young Adults (18-25): Thursday Nights

WAKE UP WEEK
It's the kick-off week to every Life Group month.
These weeks are designed to be weeks where two of our groups gather together as one to have opportunities to fellowship and invite new people into the community.
Those leading will host/plan gatherings once a month (themed potlucks, park meet-ups, etc.) We're here to have fun & be connected.
ENGAGE WEEKS
These weeks are designed to be weeks where individual life groups go deep & get real with one another in worship, prayer, and diving into God’s Word.
Depending on the group you are a part of, this could look different. But the main things will be the same. We will gather as a Life Group, we will have conversations centered around the gospel, and then we will go and take the lessons learned from scripture and apply them into our daily lives.
GO OUT WEEK
The focus of Go Out Week is to mobilize our people to engage in mission; through organized and organic initiatives, our people will be encouraged to reach out and build relationships with lost people.
Your Life Group leaders will have pre-planned mission opportunities with the goal of gradually introducing a variety of ideas to the body that will encourage personal missional engagement.
Church happens more between Sundays than on Sundays - so go and be the church.
